In Selected Works of Charles Dickens, upper-high school students will discover the answers to these questions and more. Through eighteen weeks of reading assignments, discussion questions, and writing assignments, students will learn about Dickens’ development as an author and several of the themes found in his major works.

These questions and more are answered in our homeschool Earth Science course as seventh through ninth grade students learn about geology, oceanography, meteorology, volcanology, seismology, and more through videos, worksheets, and quizzes.

How can homeschool high school students engage with American history and not just memorize it? With United States History: Exploration to the Present Day, ninth- through twelfth-grade students can think critically, research thoroughly, and dive deeply into history. Designed for flexible pacing, this course helps students truly understand the time periods and events they study. Through reading assignments, note-taking, research papers, and interactive activities, students move beyond rote memorization to connect with history—and their place in it.

Money 101, Seminars in Personal Finances is a very unique and different
course. Mastering the content will give you a great foundation to better handle your
money as you venture out on your own.

What do you want to do when you grow up? Career Exploration guides seventh through twelfth grade students to discover their career path or college major. This eight-week elective course does not tell teens exactly what to do with the rest of their lives, but rather provides possible directions to the next step. Each lesson includes informative articles, self-inventory worksheets, relevant links to additional information, and inspiring true stories.
